Choose the Right Air Conditioner
Saturday, October 10, 2009 8:24The use of AC (Air Conditioner) as air-conditioning equipment is commonly used today. Hot weather in the city and the difficulty of making a room with good air circulation, makes most people uncomfortable when in a room that is not air-conditioned. However, using the AC was able to make electric bills swell. As input for you to select the AC, the following article will explain the workings of the AC and what can be done to minimize electricity bills.
That there is a general term when we discuss the AC is the PK. PK own understanding may remain unknown for many people. PK stands for Paard kracht. These are the resources needed to produce a BTU (British Thermal Unit). BTU is what determines the level of the resulting air cool. Indeed, to produce a large BTU require a big PK. That is why the cold produced by the AC is often determined based on its PK.
How to determine the appropriate PK for our room? To answer, we can use the following formula:
The length of the room (m) x Width of the room (m) x Height room / 3 (m) x 500
Then match the following divisions:
Choosing PK AC
Results PK
5000 ½
7000 ¾
9000 1
12,000 1 ½
Example:
The room-sized rooms 6 m length, width and height of 3 standard 3 m. So the results into 5 x 3 x 3 / 3 x 500 = 7500. So when matched with the above table, the number is between 7000 and 9000, so it can be used with AC or 1 ¾ PK PK.
As a suggestion, should be used in measuring AC 1 AC PK to work not too hard, because if the used AC ¾ PK, means that the AC should work harder in order to adjust the size of the room.
To be conditioned to give maximum results in providing fresh air following a few tips that can be done:
* Adjust the size of the room with air-conditioning capacity.
* Do not put right in front of the door, because the air would be easier to get out into another room.
* Do not place the AC too close to the roof. AC took the air from the top, so if too close to the ceiling, narrow space causes the incoming air was not optimal.
* Wash your AC filter once 1 month.
* Perform washing AC evaporator 3 months.
