Artificial Lens For Cataract Patients
Wednesday, October 28, 2009 3:06Posted in category Articles
Artificial lens or IntraOcular Lens (IOL) which is used by patients with post operative cataract, there are 3 types as follows:
1. Monofokus IOL, the lens has only one focus on long-distance vision
2. Accommodative IOL, the lens has a focus on long-range vision and short distance, but for very short distances <30 cm lens is still not good
3. Namely multifocal IOL lens can have a focus for distance, near and close at the same time.
Different lenses will still require adaptation in the displacement of long-distance vision and near or vice versa.
